Being authentic means being real, genuine, and distinctive. From the land to the ingredients, to passion and culture — every aspect matters. Each of our beers is crafted and designed to offer a complete experience.

Crops

A project rooted in the land

Over one thousand hectares are carefully cultivated to grow the finest raw materials. In addition to spelt, barley, and wheat, our fields provide the ingredients that give our beers their unique character, such as aromatic hops, grass peas, and lentils. A taste that comes directly from the Umbrian land and from 200 years of Farchioni expertise.

Malting

When barley becomes malt

After a very meticulous selection and cleaning process, malting begins. The barley is moistened so that the embryo inside starts germination, producing enzymes that will later convert starch into simple sugars. Careful drying determines the aroma and color of the malt. The process concludes with a further four weeks of maturation. The malt is now ready to give life to our beers.

In selecting our ingredients, we aimed to combine tradition and creativity, creating a perfect balance of sensations and flavors. Special malts and carefully selected grains come together with typical Umbrian legumes to create an exclusive and refined taste — the taste of Mastri Birrai Umbri.

A Supply Chain Story

“From Field to Glass” is the promise of a complete and controlled supply chain. After cultivation, the barley becomes malt in our malthouse, develops its character during brewing, and finds its fulfillment in the glass, in the taproom. Finally, taste becomes a shared experience.
