Gorilla wins the Premio Cerevisia 2024 for Central Italy

Mastri Birrai Umbri celebrates a new important recognition: Gorilla beer won the Premio Cerevisia 2024 as the best beer in the Central Italy geographical area.

The Premio Cerevisia is a national competition dedicated to quality Italian beers. Created to enhance craft brewing production, the award combines the work of institutions, scientific research and technical tasting, with the aim of promoting the excellences of the sector.

Gorilla is a beer with a decisive character, belonging to the special Monkey Style line. It is an Anglo-Saxon-inspired barley wine, intense and complex, with notes that recall dried fruit, caramel, liquorice and roasting.

Its maturation in Sagrantino barrels adds depth and personality, making it an important beer, suitable both for food pairing and for a more thoughtful tasting moment.

The recognition obtained at the Premio Cerevisia 2024 confirms the value of Mastri Birrai Umbri’s path: a production linked to the territory, to the quality of the raw materials and to an Umbrian supply chain cared for in every step.
